Comparison and Contrast - outline

Topic: Grocery Stores Versus Supermarket Stores
prices, service, and food
I. INTRODUCTION
Although grocery stores and supermarket stores are both the places where we buy things, they have some differences. Some people like to buy things in grocery. However, some may choose to do the purchase in supermarket. They make the decision upon three reasons which are the prices, service, and food.
II. BODY
Prices: Grocery stores – higher, no discount
Supermarkets – lower, often have discount
Service: Grocery stores – do not have after-sale service
Supermarkets – have after-sale service
Food: Grocery stores – less, can buy single one
Supermarkets – more and diversified, several units in a bundle
III. CONCLUSION
The differences of grocery stores and supermarket stores fulfil our different needs. Although grocery stores seem to only have one advantage that can buy single thing, they have more stores than supermarkets have. These two advantages are strong enough to compete with large supermarkets. I think they are the reasons why the grocery stores still exist.
